How we set you up to host yourself
Many companies charge monthly fees to host a site you already paid to build. We show you a clear path to own domain, email, and hosting on your accounts — often free or a few dollars a month.
1. Purchase your domain
Register your business name (typically .com; add .net if you want protection). Many registrars offer first-year deals with autopay you can cancel anytime. Secure close spellings when possible so copycats cannot grab lookalike names.
2. Set up matching email
Customers trust replies from you@yourdomain.com. We guide domain email setup (or hybrid with Gmail for large attachments). Your contact form can still deliver straight to the inbox you use every day.
3. Host on your own account
We help you launch on free or low-cost platforms such as GitHub Pages, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, or similar — accounts in your name. You are not renting a locked platform from us. Optional paid hosts (Vercel, shared hosting) work too if you prefer.
What agencies often charge: $25–$150+/month for “managed hosting.” What self-host can cost: $0–$20/month after your domain. We include setup guidance with every website package so you are not stuck paying forever for something you already own.
4. Share a layout you like
Send a site you admire plus your social links. We lay out services and products using your photos (up to 12 from social for Launch). Contact forms route inquiries to your email. Multi-page Grow builds expand with product/service pages as scoped.
5. Launch with video for social
Every website includes an animated-logo hero video you can pin on Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms — the same asset that greets visitors on your site.
